Hai Sue Kang is a remarkable woman to say the least. Not only a junior doctor, she is an integral part of the P3 Foundation, a New Zealand youth-led development organisation, which aims to end extreme poverty in our generation. We sat down with Hai Sue to discuss her role running P3's SEED Programme - a social entrepreneurship programme that educates and empowers high school students as to how their efforts can make a difference in the Asia Pacific region. Hai Sue's take on community focused on interactions between the New Zealand youth community and the global health community. As Hai Sue explained, the individuals involved in P3 are examples of people that have translated their passions into a purpose.
